Yasha is an undergraduate at UIC and has been apart of the Kaur lab since May, 2026. Currently he is focused on furthering knowledge surrounding Wolbachia, its CI gene operons, and their activation and rescue mechanisms. In his free time, he enjoys finding obscure music from all over the world, gardening, reading anything Tolkien related, and gracefully playing his bass guitar (if you listened to him play, you’d probably beg to differ).
